The grand opening of DISPLAY: Wedding Chapel and Love Shop is fast-approaching! This new installment could not have been completed or achieved by just our own team. With that being said, we want to shed the spotlight on all our event partners. Today we would like to highlight Audrey Chaney, founder and owner of Botanica Floral & Event Design. She is a pioneer in all event design trends and has become a loyal friend to the DISPLAY family. Below you will find her story as well as glimpse of some of her ideas for what will become Sacramento’s premier love destination.
2015 is an exciting year for Botanica Events! They are currently taking on clients in both Northern California and the Central Coast of California. Audrey, founder of Botanica Events grew up on the Central Coast, and her heart is both in Northern California and back home. It made perfect sense to expand and share the love with the Central Coast as our second studio.
With over 15 years of experience in the wedding and event industry, Audrey started Botanica Floral & Event Design over 7 years ago. Audrey’s work and designs have been featured on countless national and international blogs, print and even WE TV’s Platinum Weddings television show.
Audrey’s passion and love for design has blossomed not only her floral business, but her personal style and the look brides and clients continue to attract to over and over again. With a distinctive eye, she hand-picks each item to be added to the inventory. Each with a story in itself and a past that can once again come alive when you take these curiosities into your own event.
“I look at each event as an expression of our clients. They are each unique, and so their event should represent and emanate that as well. Each new piece that I hand-select to be brought into our inventory has a story, a vision, and multiple uses. It’s this which excites me as each client can utilize and change up the look and feel to make it their own.”
